K&M Puts on a Successful Show in Las Vegas
K&M Tire Inc. welcomed 175 of its customers to Las Vegas, NV, for its annual dealer trade show. The event was held January 19th through the 20th, 2012, at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
At the trade show, K&M spoke to its dealers about the company’s expansion plans, and its plans for its Mr. Tire Program. Additionally, dealers learned about the importance of social media and the Internet for marketing their dealerships. Many different vendors were also in attendance.

K&M Tire Continues to Grow
K&M Tire has purchased the assets of Don's Tire in Cross Plains, WI, a long-established customer. The deal, which closed on January 2, 2012, includes Don's Tires inventory and customer list; however, the retail store closed its doors effective January 1, 2012.
Following the purchase, Leo Wherley, owner of Don's Tire, joined the K&M Tire sales team as a part-time outside sales representative in the Wisconsin area.
Don's Tire opened its doors in 1988 and sold Bridgestone, Firestone, Dayton, Fuzion, Goodyear, Continental, and Carlisle to both retail and wholesale customers.
K&M Tire plans to continue to grow by buying local and regional wholesalers in the Midwest.

K&M Tire Expands Delphos, OH Warehouse
To accommodate for our continued growth, K&M Tire has undertaken a warehouse expansion project, which will increase warehouse capacity in our Delphos, OH distribution center by approximately 60,000 square feet. The expansion began this past Summer and is slated for completion March of 2012. The extra space will house K&M Tire's expanded agricultural tire offerings, while freeing up space for additional Passenger and Light Truck lines. Husker Harvest Days 2011
Several members of the K&M Tire team recently attended the Husker Harvest Days festival in Grand Island, Nebraska. Husker Harvest Days is billed as the world’s largest totally irrigated working farm show and took place from September 12-15, 2011 on more than 1,000 acres of exhibitor space.
Ranchers and farmers from 28+ states attend the show each year and have the opportunity to interact with upwards of 600 exhibitors from companies like Case Agricultural and John Deere to Rhino/ Earthmaster and Reinke Irrigation. A very special thank you goes out to our partners at Cooperative Producers Inc. for helping to make this event such a huge success.

K&M Expands Service to Georgia
Beginning Monday, August 22nd, K&M Tire will begin servicing the Macon, GA market with daily delivery and will continue to offer the top-notch customer service that thousands of our existing customers have come to expect from K&M.
The entire K&M team is looking forward to mutually growing our wholesale business with our new customers in the Macon area and we look forward to the opportunity to service their needs.
